On February 8, 2026, Second Providence Baptist Church in Harlem experienced a devastating flood that severely damaged our newly constructed church building. This unexpected disaster has forced our congregation out of our sanctuary and into temporary online worship while we prepare for restoration.
We were unable to commemorate our 77th Church Anniversary on March 15, 2026, within the sanctuary, and we are reaching out to our church family, friends, and community partners for assistance in rebuilding. Our objective is to raise $100,000 to restore our facility and sustain the ministry and outreach that has positively impacted and blessed numerous lives.
For generations, our church has served as a sacred place of worship, fellowship, and community support. It has been a spiritual home for families, seniors, and young adults throughout our neighborhood.
Your support will help us:
· Restore our worship space
· Expand our Young Adult Ministry
· Establish a Day Care Program for working families
· Provide a safe and welcoming environment for seniors
Every gift—large or small—brings us closer to reopening our church doors and continuing our mission of faith, service, and community impact.
Please consider donating whatever God places on your heart.
Thank you for your support and prayers.
