As one of the trustees of the organisation I'm raising money in aid of Manchester Transport Museum Society Ltd at Heaton Park Tramway and every donation will help.
Blackpool Works Car 752/1 has been out of use for a number of years owing to issues with the motors, a full rewire being required and needing to be waterproofed and painted.
A lot of this work can be done in house by our fabulously dedicated volunteers but the materials cost money and the expert attention required to the motors needs to be contracted out to a specialist.
Anything you can donate would be a great help to us to get 752/1 on the move again and the sooner we raise the money, the sooner work can get underway and then 752/1 can get back to supporting our hard working engineering team to maintain the our tramway.
Thank you in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me.
