On December 13th, our bee farm by Neely Mansion on Auburn-Black Diamond road was devastated by severe flooding caused by the Green River catastrophe. As full-time beekeepers, our lives revolve around caring for our bees and supporting the local ecosystem. The floodwaters filled many of our hive boxes, damaged essential equipment, and put the health of our bee colonies at risk. It has been heartbreaking to see the impact on the bees we work so hard to protect.
The funds raised will go directly toward caring for the surviving bees, rebuilding hive boxes that were damaged by water, replacing equipment that cannot be repaired, and saving frames from getting molded. Every bit of support will help us restore our bee farm and give our bees the best chance to recover and thrive. We are committed to working tirelessly to save as many bees as possible and continue producing high-quality, local raw honey for our families and community.
Bees are incredible pollinators, and their survival is more challenging than ever in today’s environment—especially after this flood. We would deeply appreciate any help to restore even a part of our losses. Thank you so much to anyone who can support us. Your generosity means the world to our family, our bees, and everyone who benefits from the work we do.
