I am 58 years old and disabled. My home has recently suffered a sudden emergency, leaving a large hole in my living room ceiling, roof, and siding. This unexpected damage has turned my daily life upside down, affecting my safety, comfort, and both my physical and mental health. Living in these conditions has been overwhelming, and I am doing everything I can to get things back to normal. The stress of worrying about the weather, potential further damage, and the impact on my daily routine has made it difficult to focus on anything else.
The funds raised will go directly toward repairs, materials, and hiring professionals or volunteers to help restore my home. With the support of friends and the community, I hope to fix the damage and regain a safe, comfortable place to live. Every contribution, no matter the size, will make a meaningful difference in my life. Your generosity will help me move forward and rebuild not just my home, but also my sense of security and peace of mind.
Any support you can give will help me restore my home and regain safety and comfort. Thank you for considering a donation and for being part of my journey to recovery.
UPDATE: Friday June 12th 12:05a.m. More rain the past two hours, and more coming before morning. Some still coming in, but not a lot.
Two Angels from Noblesville came after 10p Tuesday night to place a tote under the hole to catch drips, tarp the new hole, and wipe and save photos, electronics, and other items that were literally getting rained on inside my living room.
Mr Angel returned Wednesday afternoon to assess the tarp coverage.
I'm only able to sleep about 3 hours per night, as having nightmares the last two nights about a much worse scenario keeps me on edge.
A HUGE THANK YOU to all who have shared and donated so far. Please keep sharing, as it is not acceptable for me to post anywhere but my own page.
Prayer needed and many more funds will be needed to remedy this fully. Bone Dry Roofing was here to start the estimate today, and I should receive it sometime next week.
Giving it all to God, in hopes that HUD says I qualify for help. So far, no response.
