My grandma has spent her life caring for others. As an RN in Cullman since she was 23, she’s provided comfort and support to countless families—working in home hospice, nursing homes, and hospitals. She was a single mother who not only raised her own daughter but also helped raise me, her granddaughter. We truly couldn’t have made it to where we are now without her love and dedication.

Recently, my grandma was diagnosed with malignant pancreatic cancer. Since the passing of my great grandmother in May, she’s been struggling with severe depression and has found it difficult to keep up with her home. Now, her house is filled with mold, her central heat and air unit is broken, and her living conditions are unsafe. It breaks my heart to see someone who has given so much to her community and our family facing these challenges.

I want to restore her home so she can come back and live out her days in comfort and dignity. The funds raised will go toward replacing her central heat and air unit, cleaning supplies, new furniture, new flooring, a more accessible shower, and medical bills.
