My family lives in New Jersey, which was ravaged by heavy rains, resulting in immense flooding, in the wake of Hurricane Ida. Some damages include the foundation of my mom's home, the complete flooding of my aunt's home, the loss of all property in their basements and possibly their entire home. Outside the home, cars have been ruined, all the contents of their garages... the list goes on. My goal with this fundraiser is to help my mom and aunt get through this time. They're in need of food, clothing, and shelter for the time being.

Situations like this unfortunately result in price gouging from local hotels and motels. On top of the property loss and damage, they're in a position to just bow to these unreasonable demands to simply get through each day, for the time being.

My mom has been a single mother of 4 children, only achieving the milestone of owning her own six short years ago. She's been my rock throughout my life, and I'm in no position to help her on my own. I know that times are tough right now for everyone, because I feel it. Any contribution helps us build to the greater goal of helping these amazing women get through this, the greatest property loss they've ever experienced.
