My name is Davide, I’m 46 years old and I live in Sardinia, Italy. I’m not an influencer, I don’t have a big social media following — I’m simply a passionate enthusiast who deeply loves Italian automotive history.

This campaign was created to save a 1991 Alfa Romeo 75 Twin Spark ASN, a limited edition model featuring original Recaro interior seats and exclusive Speedline wheels, both highly sought after by collectors today.

The 75 was the last Alfa Romeo fully designed before the Fiat era: rear wheel drive, transaxle layout, pure mechanical character. A true icon that deserves to live again.

The Story of My Alfa

I bought this 75 on November 20th, 2017. It wasn’t in perfect condition, but I slowly brought it back to life:

• fully rebuilt suspension,

• steering box repairs,

• general mechanical work to make it roadworthy again.

It became my faithful companion for Sunday drives.

The Fire – November 13th, 2022

While warming up the engine, a short circuit in the fuse box overheated the engine bay. The fuel hose melted from the heat and the car caught fire. The fire was stopped just in time, yet the damage it left behind was extremely serious.

For four years, the car remained stored in a warehouse, waiting for the right moment to be reborn.

Damage Assessment and Cost Estimate

According to the first evaluation from the mechanic, the restoration requires:

Engine bay restoration and repainting: €2,000

Complete electrical system rebuild: €1,500

Front hood, left fender, grille, bumper: €900

Original components (tanks, hoses, radiator, hydraulic pump, brake and coolant parts): €1,200

Initial subtotal: €5,600 Additional costs expected:

• possible internal engine damage (still unknown),

• full labor cost for the restoration.

This is why I set a goal of €9,000, which should cover most of the required work.
