My name is Joey, and I provide real-time weather monitoring and severe weather coverage focused on West Virginia. For many people in our state, especially in rural and mountainous areas, timely weather information can be the difference between staying safe and being caught off guard.
Unfortunately, the PC I rely on to run live radar, National Weather Service alerts, camera feeds, and broadcast software has stopped working. Without it, I am currently unable to provide the same level of real-time, life-saving weather coverage that people depend on during severe storms, winter weather, and flooding events.
This fundraiser is to help me upgrade and replace my weather workstation so I can continue serving the people of West Virginia. The funds raised will go directly toward a reliable, high-performance PC capable of running multiple live weather systems, real-time radar and alert monitoring, and streaming and broadcasting tools used during severe weather events.
West Virginia’s terrain and weather make accurate and timely information especially critical. My goal is to get back online as quickly as possible so I can continue delivering clear and dependable updates when they matter most.
Any donation, no matter the size, will help make that possible. If you are unable to donate, sharing this fundraiser also means more than you know.
Thank you for supporting local, community-focused weather coverage and helping keep West Virginians informed and safe.
