Help Restore Joy in Youth Baseball with Jim Smith

Hey All, My name is Jim Smith and I am the head coach of a Coach Pitch 8U baseball team. I remember growing up that when we had any sports, we were blessed to live in a time where the league and sponsors provided all kinds of extras such as after-game treats, mid-season pizza parties, post-season celebrations, and most importantly, safety gear.

Our league has been in shambles the last couple of years, but the new group running it is amazing and has big plans and is attracting some great sponsorship. However, they are in a big hole they need to dig out of, and I have a lot of faith that they will get the league to a place that will remind us of days gone by, so I am coming to you asking for help! Help to purchase the necessary items to have a proper post-season celebration and be able to hand out team awards. Purchasing adequate safety gear is also on my mind. Of course, any gear that would be purchased would stay with the team for years to come.

We have several players that are playing in leagues other than ours because they simply had no fun learning the game. My desire is to provide the same experience that I once enjoyed while playing youth sports. Youth sports are so much more than just a game; youth sports provide lessons that can be applied to many, many aspects of everyday life.
