During the recent Bomb Cyclone that hit our area this past November, the house of our friend and MBYC Club Manager Jesus Valdez was severely damaged by falling trees, wind and rain. The damage appears to be around $100,000, but the insurance claim process isn't progressing favorably and there appears likely to be a significant gap in the cost to restore Jesus and Maria's home versus the actual insurance coverage. As these valued members of our MBYC community need our help, we are asking for contributions to provide funds to allow work to begin so that they aren't facing this financial challenge alone.
