My name is Eyon Tomlinson and I grew up on this noble church. I am raising funds to assist with the rebuilding of Mount Olivet United Church, which was damaged by the recent hurricane Melissa. Melissa created havoc across the island, and this church suffered immense damages. The Mt. Olivet United Church in Walderston, Manchester, Jamaica, is one of the oldest congregations in the United Church in Jamaica and the Cayman Islands (UCJCI), established around 1840, making it approximately 185 years old as of 2025.

The church is a pillar in the community and also supports the Mount Olivet Boys' Home, which is located adjacent to the church.

All donated funds will go directly to the restoration of the church.
