Hello, many of you know and some may not that I have had hearing aids since I was 7 years old. It started as one in my right ear; in college, it became one in each. I recently accidentally broke my right hearing aid. They were old, but I have no money to buy new ones. I reached out to a local audiology place and they let me wear a pair for trial; it was nice to hear well again. However, I can in no way afford them at $3,500.00. Insurance does not help at all as they consider hearing aids cosmetic and not a necessity. I have shopped around and found some at Costco I can get for $1,699.00.

However, I have been recently widowed and we are now a one-income family. I hate to even ask, but I need to hear. If you have anything to give, it would be appreciated. Thank you.
