As many of you know I have been struggling with my health for quite some time now but in July of this year things just got a lot worse. Then on October 2nd I had a pulmonary embolism in my lung. Still not feeling right with super high heart rates, I was tested for POTS with a positive diagnosis. I have MCAS also. POTS is a central nervous system condition that wreaks havoc on your whole body including heart rate and blood pressure. There’s not really any standard treatment or medication for it besides medications to lower or higher your blood pressure and heart rates. There are however functional neurologist clinics who specialize in this condition but are VERY costly. I have been in contact with one in Chelsea, Michigan who is a world renowned clinic for POTS. Unfortunately, the cost is $1300 a day with 10-20 days of treatment needed with no insurance accepted. I also, need to get my breast implants out of my body as they are toxic and could be one of the underlying causes of alot of my health issues. I did not realize how awful they were when I got them in 7 years ago. That’s another quote for 12k. I’m a stay at home mom, with 3 kids and these diagnoses have completely altered my life. I’m down almost 30 pounds since end of July, barely able to eat. Donnie works hard but this is a huge financial burden especially given all we been going through the last few months and him not working long hours to be home to take care of me and the kids. On top of it being so close to the holidays. I don’t know where else to turn for help. I just want my life back! If you know me, then you know I’m always the one who does everything for everybody and my life revolves around my kids. Being damn near bedridden is definitely taking its toll on me.
