Help Fund the Geiger Grade Lookout Restoration

Donation protected
Hello, my name is Richard Graser and I am the Founder of the Geiger Grade Beautification & Restoration Project.

The Geiger Grade Lookout Point/ Wayside Park was constructed in 1936 by the CCC boys and WPA men. Over the years it has been degrading as well as destroyed by some. Trash and glass layer the grounds and graffiti has become a serious issue as almost every area is covered by paint. Overgrowth has also become an issue and needs to be removed.
We are raising the funds to help purchase the equipment needed to clean up the Geiger Grade Lookout Point in Reno, NV. This will include items such as gloves, buckets, bags, high visibility shirts, eco-friendly graffiti removal tools and equipment, rakes, first aid equipment, and other odds and ends for our volunteers to use, as well as funding for daily garbage checks by our staff and some operational costs. This is just the first component of this project which will end up bringing back this depression era day camp to as close to original as possible while keeping clean and safe for every visitor.

This is a large project that will take multiple times over the next year to remove all the trash and other things causing hazards in the area. Even the smallest donation will make a difference in our effort to help the environment.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read this and have a great day!
