Jamaica, my homeland, has been impacted by a devastating category 5 hurricane, touching down on October 28, 2025. A true natural disaster, nothing has ever been so personally worrying. Coming from a proud and happy people, I've never been one to beg; however, I plead for assistance with aid for all my brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, cousins, and my extended family. I would do all the work by myself if I could (you can ask friends and work colleagues), but this storm has been too great. I may not be able to assist everyone which my heart desires, however, it is important for the journey to begin with the first step in rebuilding. So I send a plea for help to repair my childhood country home, my Aunty KK's house, located in the beautiful hills of New Market, Saint Elizabeth, as a start. My aunt, named Hillary Williams affectionately know as Aunty KK, is a forever farmer; the mother of six children, nine ; ), and a half grand children... she is the character of the family within whom the family keeps itself grounded, with her knowledge of plants, animals, traditional remedies and recipes. The meals and laughter filled with love have been dealt a horrible blow. She is more than deserving of a home cultivated from love to be fully restored.
Thank you, so very much for your time and efforts.
Respectfully,
Treneil
