Help Restore Evenground Dance Studio

Hi everybody, this is Chris, the owner of Evenground Dance Studio. Since we've been open last September, we have been working tremendously hard to provide a great experience for our students at our new studio day in and out.
Unfortunately today (8/22/24), we fell victim to a burglary, with many things critical to our operation including all the speakers, speaker stands, laptops, vacuum, and many more valuables being stolen. We are estimating the value of stolen goods to be about $3000 altogether.
I have filed a police report and will be working closely with the landlord and the neighboring businesses to see if there’s any footage or clues as to who might have done this.
It is really unfortunate and quite shocking that this happened, but thankfully nobody was hurt and some of the most critical objects such as the mirror was not damaged. Things like our furnitures, lights, dehumidifier are intact, and we are grateful that the damage wasn't of a larger scale and that nothing was trashed and we will be able to go back to operations very soon.
We will be working hard to open back up as soon as possible, as well as bolster our security measures such as getting cameras with motion sensors and looking for ways to bolster our doors, locks, and windows.
The $7,500 goal will be used for:
- $3000 for re-purchasing all the stolen goods
- $500 for setting up a proper camera system inside and outside for security
- $4000 estimated cost to bulletproof our front windows to be extra safe (There was a history of front window break ins with previous tenants. Even though we suspect they came through the back, this will be a good measure)
We'd appreciate any type of support as we work through this challenge.
THANK YOU EVERYONE!!
