Help Restore Dignity to the Unhoused in Long Beach
Tax deductible
When you walk down the street in Long Beach, it’s impossible to ignore the crisis: thousands of people without homes, sheltering under freeways, in alleys, and on sidewalks—often without basic necessities like food, clean clothes, or hygiene supplies.
This crisis isn’t just about numbers. It’s about real people who deserve dignity, safety, and a second chance.
That’s why I’m raising funds for Care Closet LBC, a powerful nonprofit doing the hard, hands-on work to uplift our unhoused neighbors. They provide clean clothes, hygiene kits, mental health support, medical care, addiction services, and even city cleanups. Every donation goes straight toward these life-saving services.
Here’s why this matters:
• Over 3,300 people are unhoused in Long Beach alone.
• California holds nearly 2/7 of the nation’s unhoused population.
• Racial inequalities make this crisis even more severe: 30% of the unhoused are Black, though only 12% of the U.S. population is Black. That’s not a coincidence—it’s systemic.
You can help change this.

We may not be able to fix everything—but together, we can do something powerful, “Lil by Lil”. Thank you for caring.
