Help Restore Comfort at The Pastime Restaurant
Donación protegida
The Pastime has been operating in downtown Baton Rouge for over 80 years. Before that, it was a grocery store, so the building and equipment are old. COVID took all of our resources to keep the doors open, including using all lines of credit, SBA loans, credit cards, and management not taking any pay. Gradually, we have been paying off all the debt, but that leaves almost no cash flow. We will gradually dig our way out and pay off all debt, but in the meantime, repairs are needed. We have two 5-ton air conditioner units that failed and just lost our main 10-ton air conditioner unit. We are hoping to raise funds to replace these units so our customers can enjoy their dining experience without sweating. We have always done things on our own and have never asked for help, but we are in a bind and we are putting our pride aside and asking for help. Please consider helping the oldest family-owned restaurant in Baton Rouge and the only historic landmark restaurant in the city by helping to replace these units as soon as possible.
I can offer you free meals in exchange for your help.
Thank you so much for even taking the time to read our request for help.
