Help Restore Cleveland City Dance Studios

Hello Friends,
On May 6, Cleveland City Dance suffered an extreme flood due to a water main break in the upstairs restroom of Shaker Square. Unfortunately, several businesses in our quadrant experienced extensive water damage, with CCD having to deconstruct all but two studios and one restroom. The office, lobby, storage closets, Studio 3, women’s restroom and basement were deconstructed in late May to mid-June. Reconstruction of these spaces has finally begun. While insurance will cover a lot of the renovation, several items are not covered under the insurance policy. We humbly ask for your help as we rebuild and expand to a fourth studio. Funds will help:
- Repair three broken interior doors
- Repaint all studios to be uniform
- Assist with replacement costs for front desk, filing systems, benches and chairs, and a desk for students to do homework between classes
- Rebuild props that were destroyed included a Brick wall, duck pond and flora from Peter and the Wolf
- Restore costumes that were damaged
- Replace electronics that were damaged in the flood
Help us revitalize Cleveland City Dance and bring more movement to Shaker Square. Let’s make the start of the 2024-2025 season a phenomenal one.
