"Creating community while enjoying your cigar in an excellent environment has been our motif for the past 13 years. I struggle asking for help but we need it now more than ever. I'm still in shock that we lost everything we built in minutes. We are raising funds so we can get the doors back open. Anything you can do to help I will be grateful" - Gloria Blake
This morning, February 7th at around 2:30AM, Blew Smoke was destroyed by fire. No life was lost and no one has been injured, but the epicenter of our community and the source of our family's income is now gone.
For 13 years, Blew has stood as a pillar within Brooklyn as a center of community, love, and great cigars. My mother, Gloria, has stewarded over the space making it a second home for us and for so many people. She has worked tirelessly to change the face and culture of the cigar world to make it more inviting and comforting.
We are so grateful for the outpouring of love that has been extended to us. We are still waiting to hear from the investigators to understand the cause of the fire.
Please support if you can by donating and sharing this fundraiser.
