Help Restore Arm Mobility After Surgery

Donation protected
Health Update: August 20, 2026

We saw my surgeon yesterday, and reviewed the latest MRI.

The good news is that my spine (the dark line running from top to bottom) is no longer being compressed. There's good margins on all sides (the white space running along thé spine) so the surgeries were successful. The pressure that was compressing my spine is now minimal.
The bad news is that even after nearly 4 months of "aggressive" therapy both arms are significantly mobility impaired. The right arm is the worst, still can't bend at the elbow. This week we started electrical stimulation of the muscles while my therapist bends it. Yes, that IS as painful as it sounds.

With more PT it should get better over the next year. Medicare does cover all the cost, so I've set up another GoFundMe to raise money to help offset the cost.

Thank you to everyone for all the help, previously and in the future.
