Hello, I was rushed into the hospital on November 19, 2024, due to five blood clots traveling through my body. I was eight months pregnant. The doctors at Northside Hospital couldn't figure out what was wrong or where the blood clots came from, so they rushed to do an emergency C-section. I didn't sign any papers or anything; they just rushed me back. Once I was put to sleep for the C-section, I woke up and my real teeth were knocked out in the front. Once my mom and fiancé arrived, they explained to them it was an incident with my teeth due to them putting a metal tube down my throat. We contacted patient relations, and they denied the claim due to me signing papers. Once I heard this, I requested documentation on the paper that I signed. Once received back, one of the nurses had signed my signature on the paper. I began to file legal action against Northside and tried to go with four lawyers; everyone declined. I went to the dentist with my Medicaid, and unfortunately, Peach State only helps with pulling teeth and not fixing them. So now, Northside Hospital has taken away everything that was a part of me, and I'm stuck walking around in pain every day with my teeth gone.
