My name is Dylana, and I’m reaching out on behalf of my brother, one of the most hardworking and caring people I know.

About seven years ago, my brother bought the trailer house we grew up in. It wasn’t just a home to him; it was a piece of our childhood, a place filled with memories, and something he was proud to rebuild and make his own. He’s worked hard since the day he turned 16, always providing, always showing up, always putting others first.

Then everything changed.

Three years ago, he suffered a serious back injury. The pain has followed him ever since, and he’s still fighting to get disability. But even through his own struggles, he has remained one of the strongest, most dedicated people I know. His work now looks different. Every bit of his energy goes toward caring for the woman he loves.

His fiancée is severely ill and currently fighting to get on the transplant list for both a kidney and a pancreas. She has dialysis multiple times a week, and my incredible brother even took the time to get certified so he can perform her dialysis himself. Despite this, she still faces endless appointments and constant medical challenges that most people could never imagine. Watching my brother care for her with such devotion, without complaint, and without hesitation, truly shows the kind of man he is. Being her full-time caregiver is hard, but he does it with love, patience, and unwavering loyalty.

He has tried to stay strong and handle everything alone, but it’s reached a point where they truly need help.

Their home, the trailer they’ve poured years of love and work into, now desperately needs repairs to be safe and livable. He has been working for weeks to replace the roof so they can move on to repairing the inside. Several rooms have walls and ceilings that are rotting and molding and need to be completely replaced. The furnace and vents need to be replaced as well, leaving a wood stove as their only source of heat. Right now, they’re living in a small camp trailer on their property while he tries to get the house back into livable condition.

On top of everything, medical bills continue to pile up faster than they can manage. The only income they have right now is her disability and the small amount he gets from being her caregiver, but that income simply isn’t enough to cover urgent home repairs, monthly bills, transportation to medical appointments, and the ongoing costs of chronic illness.

My brother has always taken care of everyone around him: his coworkers, our family, and especially his fiancée. He has never been the type to ask for anything, even when he’s hurting or exhausted. He shows up every single day, no matter what.

They deserve a safe home. They deserve stability. They deserve a chance to breathe.

Any amount, big or small, will make a real difference in their lives. Even sharing this page helps more than you know.

Thank you for reading their story, and thank you for helping give them the support they need during the hardest chapter of their lives.
