My name is Curtis Bundy, and I’m creating this GoFundMe for my ex-fiancée and the mother of my children.
Although we are no longer together, she will always be family to me because of the children we share, and because of what she has survived.

Several years ago, she was kidnapped. During that traumatic experience, she suffered severe injuries that ultimately caused her to lose her teeth. The physical damage was devastating, but the emotional and psychological impact has been even harder. This is something that continues to affect her every single day—her health, her confidence, her ability to smile, eat, speak comfortably, and simply feel like herself again.

We are raising funds to help her receive All-on-6 dental implants, a full restorative dental procedure that will give her back permanent teeth. This is not cosmetic—it is medically necessary. It will allow her to eat properly, improve her overall health, reduce chronic pain and infections, and restore a sense of dignity that was taken from her during an act of violence she never deserved.

As the mother of my children, she deserves the chance to heal, to feel whole again, and to live without the daily reminder of what happened to her. Our kids deserve to see their mom healthy, smiling, and confident.

Her Story

Her life has never been easy. From the age of 2 to 16, she was in and out of the DHS and foster care system, growing up without consistent safety, stability, or protection. Before she ever had the chance to fully experience adulthood, her life was already shaped by survival.

At 16 years old, she was kidnapped by an ex-boyfriend who became dangerously obsessed with her. What followed was prolonged, intentional abuse meant to break her physically and psychologically. During the kidnapping, she was isolated, controlled, and terrorized, suffering injuries that would permanently change her life.

She was pushed off a cliff, landing on rocks below. For two full days, she lost feeling and function in her body while being treated as an object rather than a human being. She was physically harmed with a razor, had her head forcibly shaved, and was intentionally exposed to something that caused a severe allergic reaction, without medical help for several days.

She was also subjected to psychological torture—forced to watch disturbing content intended to frighten and control her, and to convince her that escaping or telling anyone would only lead to worse harm. This abuse left lasting damage.

As a result of what she endured, she lives with complex PTSD (C-PTSD), depression, and severe anxiety. She experiences night terrors, hypervigilance, and ongoing trauma responses that affect her daily life. These are not memories she can simply “move past”—they are medical conditions rooted in extreme abuse.

During this time, she was also forced to carry and give birth to her kidnapper’s child, adding another layer of lifelong trauma to an already devastating experience.

Although she was eventually rescued, survival did not mean peace.

Since escaping her kidnapper, she has continued to face hardship. She has endured three miscarriages, including the loss of twin boys at 12 weeks, a loss so profound that she had to plan their funeral. She has been tested for cancer three times, lives with an unknown illness causing dangerous weight loss, and continues searching for answers while raising her children.

She is the primary caregiver to her autistic daughter, advocating for her needs every day while managing trauma, health struggles, and college coursework.

Despite everything, she keeps going.

Since escaping her abuser, she earned her high school diploma, completed her NTN Law Enforcement Certification, and is currently pursuing a multimedia degree, with plans to continue into business education so she can one day help reform and support children in the foster care system—the same system she grew up in.

The loss of her teeth affects far more than her health. It has also become a barrier to employment, despite her being more than qualified. She has gone into interviews prepared, educated, and capable—only to be passed over again and again. She has shared with me that she understands why some employers assume the loss of her teeth is the result of hard drug use. Still, it breaks her heart to be judged for how she looks rather than who she is or what she has worked so hard to become.

She doesn’t express anger about it—only sadness. She wishes people would see the survivor, the student, the mother, and the professional, instead of making assumptions based on appearance alone. Watching her internalize this has been devastating, especially knowing how much strength and effort she puts into building a better future for herself and for our children.

The All-on-6 dental implant procedure would not only restore her ability to eat, speak, and live without pain—it would give her a fair chance to be seen for who she truly is. It would remove a barrier that has unfairly stood between her and stable employment, independence, and dignity.

She has survived more pain and loss than most people face in a lifetime. This fundraiser exists not because she is weak—but because she has been strong for far too long.

Now, she deserves the chance to heal.

Thank you to everyone who reads her story, shares it, donates, or simply keeps her in their thoughts. Your compassion helps remind her that she is not alone.
