Help Restore a Home After Devastating Damage

Please let me cut to the chase. I am in an extremely bad shape. I am sleeping in my car as my house is uninhabitable. I keep clothes in the dryer so I can run them twice before I leave my home. For further details, please read below.

A Guest Ruined My Home And Refuses To Assist

I received a call from a gentleman, we will refer to as WG, and he called me saying that he was forced out of his housing. GW told me that if I did not pick him up, he would have to sleep under a bush and all of his belongings would be destroyed. I showed WG empathy and kindness. The outcome, WG ruined my home!

GW brought an infestation of Bedbugs. The devastation is unbelievable. Bedbug not only inflect painful and irritated bites, but they also leave unremovable stains. Bedbugs leave black stains where they defecate. If you are able to remove a live bedbug, they most likely will leave a red stain of undigested blood. I will outline the damages:

• Bedbugs ruined two high quality mattress and box spring sets

• A beautiful high-quality recliner that was overstuffed with a 1800 recline

• Two rooms of relatively new carpeting (light grey)

• Four wool business suites with at least 10 dress shirts with unremovable feces stains.

• GW stole multiple volume of books from my private library with many out of print and unreplaceable. (I am not using any funds to repurchase stolen books.)

• Four sets of bedding, pillows, towels, and mattress covers

In addition to the bedbug destruction, GW ruined my guest bathroom. GW never told me that he did not clean or really take care of anything. GW never cleaned the guest bathroom the tub was brown as if someone poured mud into the tub. The sink and the floor were filthy. The sink and toilet were clogged. In addition, GW broke the toilet seat.

To get out of danger and stop the damage, I need to do the following tasks:

• Have all of the affected furniture removed and destroyed

• Have bedbug removal specialists exterminate the infestation. (This is an advanced extermination as the pests are in the walls in the entire home with a six-month guarantee.)

• Have the carpets cleaned with attention to all of the stains. (Since the carped is fairly new, I have some remnants to patch the remaining stains

• Repurchase new bedding, towels, & pillows (beds and couches).

• Repaint walls and ceilings to cover up bedbug feces stains.

There is more to be done, but I can do that after I am able to address the urgent matters. If I listed the total cost, I believe that family, friends, and other compassionate souls may see my need as just too much. I want you to know that I requested WG to pay for the necessary funds. Even though GW will fully acknowledge that he caused all of the damages, he refuses to make restitution.
