Help Restore a Healthy Smile for a Veteran

Hello my friends. This is not easy for me. It took me almost 3 weeks to actually ask people for help(financial that is) as you can see by my photo my teeth aren't looking good. Well it's worse than just what you see. After having 2 teeth pulled and a root canal 3 weeks ago that maxed my insurance limits I still have 4 teeth needing root canal/crowns and the two bad teeth in the pic must be pulled as well. Throw in 4 implants to replace the pulled teeth and it's a lot. My dentist in Minnesota might charge upwards of $30-40k for all that. However, my dentist in Brooklyn that take care of many airline employees' teeth has quoted me $10k for all of it. Unlike most dentists they charge the insurance and nothing else extra to the patient until you reach your annual max. They have been doing it this way for years. This office is run by wonderful people.

I have been delaying and delaying lots of work because I just cannot afford it. With those delays the rot has of course gotten worse. Most of this is due to when I was 18-19 yrs old serving in the Army in Germany I ate a lot of lemons. It destroyed the enamel on my teeth. If I can at least raise enough money to take care of the rot which probably is $5k I can take my time and wait till next year and do the implants over a couple years.

I hate this. I do not like the idea of asking friends for money but I can feel two of my teeth beginning to get touchy. To the point I'm concerned I'll need emergency work done and I'll have nothing to cover it. ANYTHING will help. Even if I get to $2k or over it that can at least take care of the most risky/painful ones.
