Hi, I’m Jamie, a single parent of three wonderful children, and I’m reaching out because I’ve found myself in a situation I never expected. I’ve always tried to handle things on my own, but this time, I’m at a breaking point.

Recently, a storm caused severe damage to my home’s roof and ceiling, and my insurance company refuses to cover the repairs. They sent someone out who didn’t even get on the roof and claimed it was water damage, something they won’t cover. Meanwhile, the damage has gotten worse after recent storms, and now I’m looking at a $10,000 bill to fix everything.

To give you a breakdown of the costs:

- Roof Repair: $7,535.77

- Ceiling Water Damage Repair: $2,000

- Extra Flooring Repairs: Additional costs due to water damage spreading

Until these repairs are made, my children and I can’t move back into our home, and to make matters worse, the insurance company is threatening to cancel my coverage altogether. I’m facing an overwhelming situation with no clear way forward, and I need help.
