I really hate to do this but many of you suggested that I do so here goes…I was hit by a drunk driver while transporting an Uber passenger, my insurance is denying the claim because I was working for Uber, Uber has a $2500 deductible if the vehicle is even repairable (big if) and my car is sitting in a tow lot accruing fees while I’m waiting for an adjuster to assess the situation. It looks like the person who hit me is uninsured but they were hauling heavy construction equipment indicating that they were working for someone who is and I’m definitely going to sue but could use a little help until this mess is figured out. I’m going to lease a car through Lyft so will be able to earn while sorting this out but not as much as I was before this happened. The money I’m asking for is to either get my car fixed if possible or put a down payment on something else if not. Thank you for your support.
