For the past year I have been in a journey to fix my teeth. I am a person who lives, and who socializes, and who smiles. But this smile is not cute. And I didn't know how not cute it was below the surface, until I made the decision to go beyond brushing and flossing, and find a dentist I could trust. The care I have received at Rooted Dentistry in Black Diamond is exceptional. They have been patient while I bawled my eyes out over the reality of my teeth. They communicate so clearly, every step of care and action. They make it easy for me to continue to care for what's in my face.

But the reality is, the damage is done, and I'm a toddler headbutt away from looking real redneck.

I have advanced Periodontal Disease, and the bone loss that my jaw has sustained is significant. I have to loose my teeth, there is no fixing what's existing. I am 40, (almost 41), and the thought of dealing with dentures for the rest of my life is daunting.

I went down the internet rabbit hole of implants, and then met with the team at Clear Choice in Federal Way, WA. I know this is what I need to do. It is an atrocious surgery and a tough healing process. But I am up for it.
