Hello! I'm Kent, The one-man show behind the restoration of Shaunavon's Grand Hotel - built in 1929 but left unused for the past 45 years.

The restoration of this registered historic building has been one of the biggest challenges of my life, but as I build momentum, it also becomes one of the most important. And I could use your help!

There are very few supports for my restoration available. I have access to grants for exterior work through the generosity of the Saskatchewan Heritage Foundation, but everything from utilities to property tax is my responsibility- not to mention the countless hours and dollars spent to do this restoration right.

Any donation of 20 dollars or more will have the name of that donor added to a plaque to be displayed in the hotel. The hope is to visualize that the success of this restoration came through a community of support. Additionally, any donation of 100 dollars or more will also include a private tour of either the Grand Hotel or my 1915 Shaunavon house.

All funds raised will specifically benefit the hotel restoration by going towards property tax, material and disposal costs and, hopefully, scaffolding.
