On April 28, 2025, between 11:55 AM and 12:00 PM, our production vehicle was broken into in broad daylight at East Heath Car Park. In a couple of minutes, nearly £10,000 worth of camera equipment and hard drives containing two days of footage were stolen. Footage that represented months of hard work on our independent comedy web series.
This wasn’t just gear. It was our future, our memories, and our creative lifeblood.
We were a team of 15 cast and crew working completely unpaid, driven purely by passion. Locations were rented. Costumes were custom-ordered. Rehearsals and planning took months. And now, much of it is gone. Despite paying for parking, concealing the kit under tarpaulin in unmarked cases, and assigning a crew member to keep watch, our vehicle was targeted with surgical precision (likely by someone who had followed us from our previous location).
We’re asking for your help to get back on our feet and reshoot the lost scenes. Your donation will help us:
- Replace stolen gear (camera, lenses, lighting, and Luke’s AC tools)
- Rebook locations and rehire supporting services
- Cover essential production costs for the reshoot
- Restore lost time, energy, and momentum
If you believe in independent art, emerging talent, or just want to help passionate people recover from an unfair loss please consider donating or sharing this page.
Every bit of support will help us finish this series, not just for ourselves, but for everyone who believed in the story we were telling.
With gratitude,
James and Cecilie
