Help Rescued Puppy: Support His Broken Leg Bill
Donation protected
I'm Onyx, and I was rescued with an injured leg that turned out to be broken. I'm only four months old. My first dad was homeless and kept me until he found a place to live and couldn't take me. I was only three months old when he tied me to a fence and left me. Another homeless woman saw me and took me.
How did I get hurt? My new homeless mom was riding her bike with me running next to her, and my back leg got caught between the tire spokes. Then she fell on me. I screamed really loud. My leg twisted, and the witnesses who helped said it was hard to look at my leg twisted the wrong way. This happened on Easter Sunday. A rescue wasn't notified to help until Monday. A lady rescue from Perfect Paws Animal Advocates picked me at 9 pm. It was perfect timing because I was about to be abandoned again and left with a homeless woman in a wheelchair.
The lady took me to the vet the next morning. I was given pain meds, which helped me feel better. They did x-rays, which showed my leg is definitely broken.
The rescue has no money for emergency vet visits. Please consider any donation to help pay my bills. The rescue has more bills ahead when I feel better. I still need to get neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped, which will be another few hundred dollars, in order to get adopted to a forever home.
There is no donation too small. Perfect Paws Animal Advocates and I greatly appreciate all the help we can get.
