Every morning, we visited them at the ranch where we were temporarily staying. We chanted to them, offered fresh green grass, and watched them soften and trust us. They began to recognize our voices, walking over eagerly whenever we called. But these loving beings are now at risk of being slaughtered next week. For meat, tallow, bone broth, hides — every part. The man who owns them sees them only as “resources.” We see them as lives worth protecting. As beings with personalities, emotions, and a future. ✨ Here’s the miracle: After many conversations, the owner finally agreed to release both cows if we can gather $7,000 in time. This covers: ✔ safe transport ✔ initial care and quarantine ✔ and intake at Critter Creek — the largest cow sanctuary in North America, who has officially agreed to take them.
