Help Save Stray Husky and Her Pups

Hello all!

A few days ago, I was driving when I came across a husky in the middle of the road. She had no collar, and after asking the neighbors, they said she has been a stray around the neighborhood for about 3 years. I took her to the vet and found a chip to get back to her owner, but when we called the owner, they told the vet on the phone that she gave the dog away 3 years ago to someone else. (Soon, we found out she just used the dog for 4-5 litters of puppies to breed and brought the puppies to sell in Mexico, then let the mother just walk the streets and neglected care for her.)

I brought the mother back to where I found her after the vet, and she directed me back to her puppy litter after a long time of searching! The puppies were found underneath someone’s porch, and the family that was living there was looking after them but still had to keep them living on the porch since they could not afford puppy supplies, had dogs of their own, and didn’t have the space to bring them in.

I brought the 5 puppies back to my apartment along with the mother dog and now looking to get them into loving homes as they have only 1 more week left of milking with the mom until they are able to be adopted!

The mom and pups are infested with fleas, have no shots, and the mom has a small open wound on her stomach that needs to be fixed along with getting her fixed as well so she can finally stop birthing and have a life of her own!

All money funded will go towards shots for the pups and mom, getting mom fixed, and getting her wound taken care of, along with getting the fleas off them and my apartment also getting deflead after housing them!

Once healthy, I’m excited to get these pups and mom up for adoption and into loving homes/off the streets!!

Any of the leftover money will go towards a local Austin dog charity that is not used!
