When a woman posted on Facebook about a neglected horse in our area, I knew I had to help. My husband and I have always dreamed of starting a rescue, and this horse’s story touched our hearts. I reached out, found the owner, and offered to purchase the horse so he could finally get the care he deserves.


The horse is severely underweight, with joint and teeth issues, and his hooves are painfully overgrown. He needs multiple vet visits, farrier trims, and a careful refeed program to regain his strength. We want to give him a soft landing—a place where he can heal, gain weight, and maybe even become a gentle companion for a child one day.
