We run a small, self-funded wildlife rescue effort in Sierra Leone, caring for animals orphaned, injured, or displaced by the bushmeat trade. These animals have been through trauma most people can’t imagine — but they’ve survived. And now, they need your help to heal.

Why This Matters

The bushmeat trade continues to destroy families in the wild. These babies didn’t just lose their homes — they witnessed the death of their parents and were left to die or be sold.

But they survived. And with your help, we can give them the safety and healing they deserve.

Every single pound goes directly into the care and protection of these animals. There’s no team, no big organisation behind this — just local hands, doing what we can, with what we have.

Meet the Residents

Nia, Zula, and Abu — three orphaned baby monkeys whose parents were killed in the bushmeat trade. They were found frightened and clinging to one another, still traumatised by what they witnessed. Now, they’re beginning to rebuild trust — together.

Kanu, a young crocodile, was rescued from a bushmeat market where he was bound and moments from being butchered. He now has clean water, space, and safety — but he’s still healing from deep fear.

Mazi, a striking Nile monitor lizard with brilliant yellow markings, was found confined in unsafe conditions after being trafficked. Now free from harm, he’s adjusting to warmth, light, and proper care — but he’ll need specialised support to thrive.
