Hello, I am Mervat (Dima and Sahar's sister)and I got married to Thaer 3 years ago. We were not rich, but we had a small apartment and we lived happily and we had dreams like every woman and man who starts a new life. A year after our marriage, she gave birth to a baby girl, and her name was Toleen. Our house was full of joy and happiness for the arrival of our first child, and Trileen became her. The only thing I have in this world, and I fear that one thorn will hurt her or make her sick.When I got married, I stayed next to my family because they needed me due to my father’s illness, and all of my brothers are baby girls, as you know, and my sisters love my baby girl very much, as you can see in the pictures.
When the 7th of October began and the war and aggression against Gaza began, everything changed and we thought that this disaster would end soon, but soon fear began in our hearts and hunger in our stomachs and the siege began.
My only daughter, Toulin, was sick because of eating canned food and not having enough vegetables or clean water. We went to the hospital and sat for more than 3 days to treat our daughter. They applied a solution and told us that she had a problem with her intestines because of the food, and they did not give us treatment or anything.. tiktok
We did not find a way to save our daughter except to go to Rafah (south). The road was dangerous and we saw corpses spread everywhere, but we continued on our way because we were hungry and we wanted to feed our daughter and we believed that Rafah was a safe place.
After our arrival, we started looking for a tent that would shelter my young family from the cold and rain. Can you imagine sleeping in this tent where it is freezing cold, water running under you, and the sounds of bombing, explosives, and crowding of residents? We were exposed to psychological shock, and Tulin is still sick without treatment or medicine .
My husband, Thaer, goes in the morning and returns in the evening to look for food or diapers for Tulane. He is very tired now. No matter how much we talk, we will not be able to describe the suffering and pain we are experiencing.
