Help rescue dogs unable to leave kennels

Cliff Top Kennels Re-homing Centre is a Registered Charity dedicated to finding homes for unwanted, abandoned and stray dogs in the Scarborough area. At Cliff Top Kennels Re-homing Centre a healthy dog is never put to sleep. We look after them and show them the care and attention they deserve until we can find a new suitable and loving home.
CLIFF TOP KENNELS RE-HOMING CENTRE, established 15 years ago, is a small charity that receives no corporate funding or sponsorship. We rely entirely on the generosity of our small and loyal group of supporters and a series of local fundraising events throughout the year.
Due the the Covid-19 pandemic we are now facing a very uncertain future. We are unable to re-home any dogs at the current time, so the dogs in our care will be in the kennels until government regulations regarding social distancing are lifted. There is also the very real possibility that the number of dogs in our care will increase over this time as the kennels are still open to receiving stray and abandoned dogs. Throughout this time the dogs still need to be kept warm, provided with comfy bedding, fed, walked, played with and fussed. In addition to this vet fees will still need to be paid when treatment is required.
Our current budget forecast shows that if the current situation with regard to coronavirus continues we will not be able to function beyond September.
Many of our dogs have had a very rough start in life and others have known loving homes, but for a variety of reasons, are then taken from everything they know and have to adjust to kennel life. If we are unable to continue with their care through lack of financial resources these dogs face further upheaval in their already confused lives.
All donations, whether big or small, will be greatly appreciated by our dogs and will be used entirely for the costs of kennelling, feeding, caring for and, where necessary, providing veterinary treatment for them. Your contribution to this cause means that we can continue to concentrate our efforts on fulfilling our aims as highlighted in our opening statement.
