Hello! For this years NYC Marathon, I will be raising funds for Operation Freedom Paws. I am extremely passionate about helping some of societies most vulnerable human, and canine citizens and with OFP you get to help 2 fold. OFP focuses on specifically rescuing and training shelter dogs to become service animals, giving both the dogs and their handlers a second chance at a better life. Yet another proof point on the importance of the most important symbiotic relationship in human history - that which we share with our canine counterparts.

OFP specializes in training and matching service dogs with veterans, first responders, and individuals with disabilities to help them regain independence. They provide a comprehensive 48-week program that empowers participants to train their own service dogs, fostering healing and self-sufficiency. Specifically, OFP rescues and trains shelter dogs to become service animals, giving both the dogs and their handlers a second chance at a better life.
