Hi everyone. I cannot share my name, the people's names in this post, my cats name, or share photos of my cats out of fear of being found out by my abuser and need to be sort of vague. So please bear with me and please read this all the way through.

For the past year I have been living with my roommate/abuser. They have recently been arrested for physically assaulting 2 people but have assaulted more people than that in the past not too long ago. I am genuinely afraid they are going to hurt me next and I need to go no contact with them ASAP as they are an incredibly violent person and I cannot do that until I get the cats over to my new place. Living with them has been walking on eggshells 24/7 and everyone who has stayed in our household knows how fast their mood can change and how angry of a person they are. They have had screaming matches with me, where I was simply trying to defend myself over something as small as toilet paper usage when I was not the only one solely using toilet paper. Yet, they continue and continue to scream at me and get angry with me and target me over the smallest things. I have been their personal (emotional ) punching bag over the last year. But I am very very afraid that with them recently assaulting multiple people, that the abuse will turn physical.

I am getting out of there very very soon and have my bills covered but I need the money to get my cats out of there and into my new place when I move. The money will be going towards getting the pet deposit paid, getting them microchipped, getting their papers and getting them vaccinated.

My roommate is an extremely unstable individual and while I think they would not hurt the cats, there's a possibility they would. And I am almost certain that they are going to hit me or someone else who lives with us soon as well.

My big ask today is to please please PLEASE share this to as many people as you can, and to donate even just $1 if possible. I'm asking for $800 to make sure all of their expenses are taken care of.
