For centuries, Spanish fighting bulls and cows have been bred for spectacle. Now, as bullfighting declines through bans and shrinking audiences, thousands of these animals face abandonment, slaughter, or being pushed into other cruel forms of entertainment.

At Namigni Animal Sanctuary, we believe ending bullfighting is only half the battle. True progress means protecting the animals themselves — one of the oldest, semi-wild cattle breeds on Earth — and giving them a future built on compassion, not cruelty.

We’ve already proven it’s possible: 14 rescued fighting bulls and cows live safely at our sanctuary, saved from abandonment or slaughter. Every day, we fight to give them the life they deserve. But to create a true post-bullfighting world, we need your help.
