We recently encountered a heartbreaking scene: a tiny, orphaned colt being attacked by dogs. At only three weeks old, he was defenseless, severely dehydrated, and incredibly weak. Seeing him in such a vulnerable state, we knew we couldn't walk away. We stepped in to rescue him, and while he is now safe, his journey to recovery is just beginning.
Since bringing him home, we have been providing around-the-clock care, but a foal this young requires specialized medical attention to survive without his mother. He is a fighter, but he cannot do this alone.
