During a recent road trip back home, my sister and I stopped to get gas and discovered a female dog in desperate need of help. She was extremely malnourished, covered in fleas and ticks, and likely suffering from mange. It was clear she had endured a lot and had little positive interaction with humans, as she was very timid and afraid. We couldn't leave her behind, so we decided to rescue her and give her a chance at a better life.

Our immediate concern was her health. She needs comprehensive vet care to address her malnourishment, treat her skin conditions, and help her recover both physically and emotionally. With proper medical attention, nutritious food, and a safe environment, we hope she will heal and learn to trust people again. Our ultimate goal is to help her find her forever home, where she will be loved and cared for.
