We are launching an urgent call for action to help feed, medicate, sterilize, and prepare over 200 dogs for travel and adoption in the Netherlands and elsewhere. The dogs have been living in desperate conditions in a small and crumbling shelter in the Shouf area in Lebanon that is being run by a very small but wonderful team of animal lovers. The shelter team has very limited resources, and the situation is completely unsustainable and is at heightened risk of tragedy given the difficult conditions.

Friends of Animals Lebanon (USA), INC. is a US-based registered charity that is leading this fundraiser. We will be working with a highly experienced Dutch team from a not-for-profit called StrayControl to execute the rescue plan.
