Hi everyone, our names are Kelis and Nichet, and we’re asking for help for our sweet French Bulldog, Rerun. He’s not just our dog, he’s our baby, best friend, and the heart of our home.

A few days ago, Rerun suddenly lost the use of his back legs. One minute he was walking around like normal, and the next he was dragging his legs and crying in pain. We rushed him to the vet, and it looks like he may have a serious spinal issue, possibly IVDD (Intervertebral Disc Disease), which is sadly common in Frenchies.

The vet told us that Rerun needs to see a neurologist for testing and possibly surgery if we want to give him the best chance to walk again. The costs are heartbreaking, and we’re looking at thousands of dollars for the MRI, specialist visits, and treatment. On top of that, he recently hurt his paw and tore out a toenail, exposing his bone, which has made things even harder for him and us.

We’re doing everything we can to keep him comfortable and cared for, but the costs are more than we can manage alone. We’re trying to raise enough to:

• Cover his neurologist consultation and tests

• Pay for treatment or surgery if needed

• Help with travel and vet expenses in Mexico, where care is more affordable

• Cover any medications, pain relief, and follow-up visits

Rerun is such a happy, loving dog. He’s always been full of energy and love, bringing smiles to everyone he meets. He somehow knows exactly when we’re sad or stressed and always comes to comfort us. He’s truly a one of a kind soul, loyal, and full of personality. Seeing him now unable to move like he used to, breaks our hearts. All we want is to see him walking, playing, and being his silly happy self again.
