My name is Joshua Shepherd-Mujica. I moved to San diego California at the beginning of this year. In that time I have worked very hard to start my own business. I saved and bought all the tools and a truck. I've been finding work and doing quality carpentry that I can be proud of. No one helped me, everything I got I got myself.

This morning I woke up to my truck having been burglarized and everything is gone. My whole livelihood stolen from me by someone who needed it more than I do. Now I don't know what to do, years of saving and investing into my work gone in an instant. I have a daughter in high school and a wife who is continuing her education. I'm the sole provider for our family. I'm trying my best to be a good person and I'm not going to stop but I don't know what to do from here. I lost over $15000 worth of equipment that will take me months if not longer to replace but I don't even know how I'm going to get started.

I have renters insurance but my tools are not covered because I use them for business. I just got this business registered as an LLC last month. The business name is Exclusive Cabinet & Trim.

I don't like asking for help but I really need it now. Anything will be greatly appreciated.
