I am in desperate need to replace my PC, which aside from being a necessary part of day-to-day life, is the primary tool I use to make money through Twitch streams, YouTube streams and videos, and writing.
It all started when the GPU (Graphics Card) on the PC started making a lot of noise, including very loud squealing and occasional grinding. As the PC is around 6 years old, I was advised to get a newer GPU instead of replacing it with the same kind, with the rationale that when I've saved enough for the next PC, I could use this GPU in it.
I spent a little over 400 dollars on the GPU, but as soon as I put it in, the PC stopped functioning normally; it kept turning on and off rapidly. Switching back to the old card gave me the same results. I paid a computer repairman to come to my house, and he reasoned that the PCI slot the card was inserted into had gone bad. Upon putting it into another slot, we were able to turn the PC on, uninstall the old video drivers, and install new ones.
Except... that would have been too easy. The PC randomly either freezes up, making me shut down and lose whatever work I was doing, or it goes to the Blue Screen of Death. It would be easier to pinpoint exactly what went wrong, except each new BSOD gives a different message and code. There is no telling when it will freeze or crash, and oftentimes after a crash, it will not power on at all unless I leave it alone for several hours.

And my Twitch channel found here:
I pretty much never take a day off, as not only are these my way of making money, but they are also very enjoyable, sharing things I love and the things I've learned with people all over the world.
At this point, as the PC will not function properly, I cannot wait and save up; I need a new PC urgently. I already have the GPU, and a good friend is willing to build it, though they are on the other side of the country. Donations to this cause will go to buying parts, shipping costs, and of course, I would never expect my friend to work for free, so labor costs as well.
If by some strange chance any money is left over, I will put it into the YouTube channel, either to improve content or do promotional giveaways to help the channel grow further.
