Hi All,

As many of you know, my car was recently stolen off of the street a few houses down from my apartment building. Not only is my car my daily driver, but it's also my most important work tool as a freelancer. As things would have it, I am between paychecks, lost a good majority of my work tools, a winter coat and other various items. To make matters worse, my insurance will not cover the loss or damages to my vehicle (if recovered) as my car is not valued enough to be reimbursed for, as I understand it.

Unfortunately, I have limited means to put a down payment on a reliable vehicle, and with work soon expected to pick up, I will need a set of wheels as soon as possible. This amount will cover the down payment, allow me to replace the stolen goods from my car while I wait for reimbursement from insurance, and to cover upcoming bills as well as missed days of work.

I would greatly appreciate your help in any amount or even just sharing and spreading the word. It's extremely uncomfortable to make this kind of ask but I feel it's the only path forward for me right now. Thank you so much and I hope to be there for you all in your times of need.
