Help Replace What Was Stolen from a Veteran-Owned Business
Donation protected
Last week, my dear friend Josh Parrish—owner of Foxhole Carpentry & Building Services, LLC—had his work trailer broken into while it was locked and secured at a job site off Beasley Road. Nearly $10,000 worth of tools were stolen, including every cordless power tool he relies on for his work, his miter saw, and even a bag of hand rags.
This wasn’t just a random theft. This was someone’s livelihood.
Josh is a local interior carpenter who specializes in cabinetry and custom kitchen and bath remodels. He’s known for his integrity, his craft, and the pride he takes in every job. Since 2020, he’s built his company, Foxhole Carpentry, from the ground up, and it’s not just a business - It’s a mission.
Josh is a U.S. Army veteran who served as a combat infantryman (11 Bravo) after graduating from UNCW. When he returned to Wilmington, he threw himself into the trades with the same discipline and grit that carried him through military service. Within two years of his apprenticeship, he launched Foxhole and has continued to employ both veterans and family as part of his commitment to purpose-driven work.
This setback threatens more than just Josh’s income. It impacts the people he employs, his clients, his family who count on him, and the mission behind the business.
If you’ve ever seen quality carpentry, or watched someone rebuild something with their own two hands, you know what’s been taken here.
Let’s help him get back to doing what he does best.
️ Goal: $10,000 — the cost of the tools stolen
❤️ Every donation, no matter the size, helps. If you can't give, sharing this page goes a long way.
Josh has never asked for help. So I’m asking for him.
