My daughter, Molly, has been courageously facing the end of her life battling advanced stages of metastatic breast cancer. The disease has continued to progress through five lines of treatment and is now spread throughout her bones, liver, brain, and central nervous system. She is currently undergoing whole brain radiation to try to buy more time with her family.

This morning, tragedy struck again when a drunk driver caused a serious accident, hitting multiple cars in an intersection and destroying one of her family’s vehicles after her husband dropped her son off at school. Molly’s husband and one of her young children were in the car at the time. Thankfully, they were not seriously injured, but they are both in pain and shaken from the experience.

Molly is already facing unimaginable challenges with her health, and now they are confronted with the additional burden of losing a vital vehicle. This makes it difficult for her to attend treatments, care for her children, and manage daily life while her husband Juan is working.
